About
Built for the Gap Between "W2C?" and "Ready to Ship"
A product search usually starts with very little information.
Maybe there is a screenshot. Maybe there is a Reddit post. Maybe someone shared a marketplace URL with no explanation. Later, the same product turns into a different set of questions: size, QC, warehouse measurements, packaging and shipping.
RedditSpreadsheet is organized around those changing questions.
It is not designed as a giant page of links where every product looks equally complete. The site tries to preserve the research trail from discovery to source to evidence to parcel planning.
The Editorial Model
Signal
What made the product worth investigating? A trend, post, screenshot, category or search result can provide the signal.
Source Trail
Where does the product information lead? Community pages, W2C records, marketplaces and shopping-agent imports are labeled as different layers rather than mixed together.
Evidence
What can actually answer the next question? Current source data, QC photos, measurements and in-hand reports all have different strengths.
Shortlist
Which candidates survive once the user defines the requirement and unresolved questions?
Warehouse Decision
Did the correct item arrive, and is there enough evidence to accept, measure, resolve or hold it?
Parcel Blueprint
What item controls the shipping shape, and which current route fits that parcel?
That six-part model is the backbone of the site.
What Changes Fast
Product details can change after a guide is published.
Titles, images, USD reference prices, source routes, QC availability and popularity signals may all change as listings are updated.
When RedditSpreadsheet shows one of these fields, use the linked W2C destination as the current source of truth. Information that cannot be confirmed should be omitted rather than guessed.
What the Research Guides Preserve
The research guides focus on methods that remain useful even when individual product listings change:
- how to trace a link;
- how to recover a product from a screenshot;
- how to judge evidence strength;
- how to compare garment measurements;
- how to diagnose dimensional shipping cost;
- how to choose which missing information is worth requesting.
These methods are designed to remain useful even when individual listings, prices or source URLs change.
Community Signals Need Traceable Evidence
Community-style discovery is useful only when the evidence remains real. RedditSpreadsheet does not fabricate engagement, ownership, reviews or product-performance claims.
That means no invented usernames, upvotes, comment counts, buyer stories, haul photos, "Reddit-approved" scores or seller trust scores without a real method.
When a popularity signal is shown, treat it as a discovery indicator, not as proof of product quality, seller reliability or purchase suitability.
Corrections Matter More Than Looking Perfect
Product links, prices and external source pages change.
A useful directory should be willing to remove a stale card, change a source, hide an unsupported label or mark a link for review.
The goal is not to make every old page look permanently current. It is to make the current user path honest and useful.
Language Access
Future language editions will use complete, dedicated pages rather than an overlay translator. They are not published during the current English-only launch. Each edition will be released only after its navigation, metadata, internal links and page content have been fully localized and checked.
Contact
Use the Contact page for broken routes, factual corrections, language/localization feedback or navigation issues.
When reporting a product-route problem, include the RedditSpreadsheet URL and the product name or screenshot that identifies the issue.
