FAQ

RedditSpreadsheet FAQ

What is RedditSpreadsheet?

RedditSpreadsheet is a product-discovery and research site that organizes W2C finds, product links, QC guidance, marketplace explanations and parcel-shipping information into one browsing workflow.

What does W2C mean?

W2C commonly means Where to Cop — shorthand for asking where a product can be found or purchased.

Is a spreadsheet the same as a shopping agent?

No. A spreadsheet organizes discovery information and product links. A shopping agent can handle supported purchasing, warehouse storage and international forwarding steps.

Where do RedditSpreadsheet product links go?

Product and category cards lead to current W2C Spreadsheet pages using clean URLs without tracking parameters.

Why do product links stop working?

Sellers may remove listings, replace them, sell out, reorganize options or move products. Agent importers can also stop resolving a source even when the original marketplace page is still available.

What should I save if a product link matters?

Save the title, a clear image, source marketplace, seller/store name if visible and any useful model, color or version information. That makes dead-link recovery easier.

What are QC photos?

QC photos are warehouse inspection images of an individual item received for an order. They can help confirm product identity, visible condition, shape, placement and measurements before international shipping.

Are seller photos and QC photos the same thing?

No. Seller photos present the product listing. QC photos document the specific item that reached the warehouse.

Can QC photos prove long-term product quality?

No. They can show visible details but cannot confirm every internal material, durability or future wear characteristic.

Can a warehouse tell me whether clothing will fit?

A warehouse can provide measurements when supported, but fit preference is personal. Compare measurements with a similar item you already own instead of relying only on height, weight or size labels.

Why can two items with the same size label fit differently?

Size labels are not universal. Different patterns, intended fits and measurement standards can produce different chest, length, shoulder, waist or inseam dimensions.

What is volumetric weight?

Volumetric weight is a calculation based on parcel dimensions. Some routes compare volumetric weight with actual physical weight and use a route-specific billing rule.

Is there one universal volumetric divisor?

No. The divisor and billing method depend on the current route or carrier. Use the live shipping rule for the parcel you are submitting.

Why can a lightweight parcel still be expensive to ship?

A large parcel can occupy significant cargo space. Under a dimensional billing route, volume may raise the chargeable weight even when actual scale weight is modest.

Should I remove shoe boxes?

It depends on your priorities. Keeping a box can preserve packaging and protection. Removing it can reduce volume. Compare the item's protection needs and the route's dimensional pricing before deciding.

Is one large consolidated parcel always cheaper?

No. Consolidation can reduce repeated base charges, but a large parcel may trigger dimensional weight, exceed route limits or reduce available shipping choices.

What is the difference between Taobao, Weidian and 1688?

They are different Chinese marketplaces with different seller ecosystems and listing structures. Use the marketplace as context and inspect the specific source rather than treating one marketplace as universally better.

Does RedditSpreadsheet sell products?

RedditSpreadsheet is built as a discovery and research layer. Product cards route to W2C Spreadsheet listings, where the user can review current product information and purchase routes.

Are displayed product prices guaranteed?

No. Prices can change. Display a price only when it is available from the current W2C product data, and treat it as a current reference rather than a permanent value.

Does a product price include international shipping?

Normally no. Product cost and international forwarding are separate parts of the process, and additional domestic, packaging, service, tax or customs costs may also apply depending on the transaction.

Which shipping route is best?

There is no universal best route. Compare current cost, chargeable-weight method, destination, limits, estimated time, product restrictions, tracking, protection options and customs workflow.

Why does the site have separate shipping and volumetric-weight guides?

The shipping page explains the full workflow. The volumetric-weight guide focuses on one specific cost driver so users can understand why a quote changes after packing.

Does the language selector use Google Translate?

No. The current English launch uses a static EN indicator. The site architecture is prepared for complete, dedicated localized pages rather than an overlay translation toolbar. Additional languages will be published only after the English site has passed final QA.

Where should I start?

If you know the product, search it. If you only know the type of item, browse Reddit Finds or Categories. If the item is already in the warehouse, start with Reddit QC. If several items are ready to ship, start with Parcel Planning.
